The Fresh Hope policies and procedure manual was developed in consultation with Reality Check Projects and funded by the AER foundation in 2005.
The policies and procedures address the following categories:
- Management Committee
- Risk Management
- Workplace Health & Safety
- Working with Children
- Outdoor Activities
The policies and procedures manual is reviewed annually. This is achieved by 3-4 individual policies reviewed at every fortnightly staff meeting. As Fresh Hope has grown quickly and rapidly, many changes have taken place in terms of staffing and structuring the program. This method of reviewing has proven to be the most effective to ensure that the policies and procedures remain up to date.
The policies and procedures are also impacted through the opportunity to visit other residential rehabilitation centres and identifying procedures that may be beneficial to the Fresh Hope program
Fresh Hope is committed to continuous quality improvement of all systems, procedures and policies.
